The idea for establishment of the CPLC Faisalabad was conceived in the year
2001 by a group of brilliant police officers and enlightened citizens. As
soon as the idea was presented, it met with prompt and active response and
businessmen and notables of Faisalabad came forward with large hearted
offers of financial assistance and behind none supporting the national cause and social service.
The CPLC Faisalabad has taken a lead in the province Punjab to set and example
of voluntary social service on self-help basis and participation in the
affairs of the Government, which has laid the foundation of a big social
revolution. it has also given a practical shape to the revolutionary
system of Governance introduces by the present Government and helped in
its implementation and communication of the effects and fruits of
revolutionary policy of the Government, down to the level of common man,
and has thus made a solid and definite contribution in supporting the
policies of the Government and betterment of the society.
In a short span of six years, highly outstanding and remarkable services
were rendered by the CPLC which included modernization of Police Stations,
establishment of Rescue 15 stations, installation of public security
systems, improvement of the traffic control system, provision of the
latest equipment and transport, computerization of police record,
redressal of public complaints, and education of public about awareness
and observance of law, which have produced a visible, notable and sharp
decline in the incidence of crimes in the city and resorted the shattered
confidence in police and revived the lost sense of security of life and
property. It goes to the credit of the CPLC, for which the members of the
CPLC deserve congratulations without whose active support it would not
have been possible.
